JUNIOR RULES

 

  1. JUNIORS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BRING IN NON-MEMBERS

  2. Tennis attire must be worn at all times.  Templeogue Tennis Club have a tennis dress code as follows:
    ShirtWhite only
    Shorts/SkirtWhite or navy only
    Tracksuitsany colour preferably navy/white
  3. Players must ensure that their actions and behaviour do not disturb or offend other players i.e. racquet abuse or verbal abuse.  Disciplinary action will be taken against players who behave in such a manner.
  4. June, July and August, Mon-Fri, Juniors have priority on all courts between 9.00 am and 5.30 pm.  At the discretion of the Junior Officer, (or person in charge), some courts may be allocated to Seniors.
    In all other instances, Senior members have priority.  
  5. Throughout the year on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, a parent (who is a member) playing with their child is entitled to play for 1¼ hours.  Parents with children have priority over Juniors in the event of a queue.
    However, in the event of other courts being available, Juniors should not be asked to move.
  6. Children under the age of 9yrs old must be supervised by a responsible adult
    AT ALL TIMES
  7. For safety reasons, under 16’s must not be on the Club premises after 5.30pm unless they are accompanied by a Senior Member of the Club or are in coaching.
  8. 16 year olds and over are allowed to play after 5.30pm.  14 & 15 year olds may only play with a Senior Member after 5.30pm.
    In both instances, Senior Members have priority.

9.    Supervised group coaching may take place after 5.30pm.

10  Juniors are not permitted in the Bar after 8.00pm.

11  Juniors are NOT ALLOWED on the balcony except under the supervision of
      their parents

12  Bikes must be locked in the bike racks provided
      (not in the Clubhouse)

13.  The following are strictly forbidden:-
            a)   Chewing Gum on the Club premises or Courts
            b)   Littering the premises - please use the bins provided
           
c)    Smoking or consuming alcohol on Club grounds
            d)    Playing football on Club grounds.

THE ABOVE RULES CAN BE AMENDED AT ANY TIME BY THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
